My theory is the shittier the track the closer to the real thing, the way it was. Still a very scary track no matter how real it I think it is. It took me a little while to get the bollucks up to go over the pavement change wide open, but Roper passed me right there and I figured he was doing almost twice what I was doing the I could open it up. Dylan did great in North Florida and had motor issues at Daytona so they called it a day. I was really hoping to see hime race at Daytona with a 5 speed. Greg is definately one of my favorites to watch but year Dylan gets my under-dog vote next to mine of course.

oh definitely. dylan is always one of my favorites. its always a tough call for me between he and tim. i like to see tim win on his beemer. that trumpy will be way fast.

i dont mind the bumps, i actually like bouncing over them in a straight line. its the corners that suck. that track also just tears my shit up. the rocks/trees and other shit i dont think about. you go by them so fast you dont even notice them. that hairpin at start finish sucks. going up the hill through the tunnel of trees rocks. i love standing on my pegs as i go up there and letting the bike jump around under me. i watched mike get all out of shape at that corner up there once and then the same weekend he crashed there. nut. i thin you'll dig summit. t-1 is a after a huge long downhill straight into a 2nd gear corner. and i think the trick to it is the outside line. its a hairpin and everyone seems to crowd in. marshall was telling me on the inside you get chopped.

the gods have been awaken!! the rumor i heard was that it was getting too big for gunstock to handle. it was fine as a smaller event but last years attendance i think probably scared them. mind you, nothing regarding the club seems official until it actually happens. i personally hope its not the last year. even though the course is bumpy and really really dangerous, i really like putting on the show and getting the chance to ride fast at a historic venue like it. and its really seemingly the only venue/event where people actually seem to take an interest in the bikes. i dont know how many people came over and looked at my bike and asked me a million questions. its funny, you know, i think having the cb's there really encourages people ask questions and interact.

do you know something i/we dont know about gunstock?? it seems like they'd be smart to get it together and support the event anyway they can. although maybe they lose a crap load of money already but i wouldnt know. seems like it could be a money maker for gstock.

do you have the duc back together yet??? will it be out to wreak havoc again this year?? im looking forward to seeing it again.

Joe,
That statement is so off base and the farthest from the truth. Who ever told you that is talking thru their arse!!!!

Enough said!!!

rumors or untruths??? since youre an officer of the club, sir, can you tell me whats happening with the "rumor" of there being a mid may event?? since the topic came up a few weeks ago, i havent heard a thing. i have also heard a rumor about a guy who ownes a beemer shop who wants to do a combined trackday and seperate raceday with us in may. he apparently already has the trackday sometime in mid may. i actually think it is the wednesday of the second week, which would fall either on the day of or the day after the date that was mentioned. (??) think there is a way someone could get in touch with this guy to maybe see whats up and maybe we could work 2 days out of this thing if its not too late?? from what i heard, he seemed pretty gung-ho about it. i'll see what i can dig up on him for cantact info.
