Hey guys,
Its been a long time since I have been on the board. I lost track of my old profile, and pass words so I had to restart a new one. I used to be the rd400 freak but I'm back to my roots again. Check out the "hard core cafe" folder in my link. http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/rd400guy2002/my_photos

I am building this for the street not for the track, so it will have a mellow motor. It started life as a 72 cb350 that was a solid runner but just boring. I swapped on the cbr600F3 front end along with the brakes. Should stop on a dime now. The rear end I am currently working out the details with the sprocket off set. The rear shocks are going to be replaced with Ohins piggy back style, so the bike should ride good. Clip ons are going away for a superbiker handle bar set up. Still have a lot of work but I just want to say hi again to everyone and show you what I have been building.
Later guys!
Take Care
Matt

Thank you Tex,
Yeah I plan on keeping my online folder updated with pictures and such. This is going to be my winter project now that I have finished up working on everyone elses bike. Debating on what style head light to use. I was thinking duals like a buell XB9 or a cb750(bigger then 350's) and use like a X1 light'n fly screen. Any ideas or suggestions?

aaron,
Yeah thats me. I stopped racing for this year with being freshly married. I wanted to take a year off from racing to take it easy. the last bike I was racing was a old twin shock xr80 with a 95 cc big bore kit, 13:1 compression, and a boat load of motor work. It was quick enough to hold my own against slightly modified ttr125s.

aaron,
I used to race with superbikers2 which would met at road america,
Then I would race with another group down at sugar river race way. There was 4 different classes, big wheel, and small wheel, then stock and mod for each. A bunch of rules and such. Go read them at www.superbikers2.com Are you thinking about getting into it?

hey guys. Quick update.
I havn't been working too much on the bike because i have been working on the green chopper. (can be seen here http://www.chopperunderground.com/f...62981ce50893c7ee3e28d785104d4&showtopic=13650)

I was able to swap the steering stems, and get the front end on the bike and it feels solid!. I plumbed up and bled the brakes on it and they are nice and firm. I have the axle spacers cut and installed on the rear wheel. I am now awaiting the time to sit down and machine the sprocket spacer and brake disc adapters. I'm looking for a 71 or newer cb350 tank currently so if you have one hook me up.

Later guys!

this link brought me directly to the 400 I didnt see a 350 or any link to hardcore folder what did I not do right.I thought the chopper was cool Id like to get all those parts you chopper guys take off your bikes, like twin leading shoe drums Im sure they look clunky on a chopper...so drop me a line if you chopper guys have them taking up space I like that clunky mechanical look on a street cafe bike.George
