I just found this place, so have a lot of reading to catch up on.

My home track is Sandia Motorsports park, in Albuquerque NM. I know a few of you have been here with AHRMA with their event here (last 3 years) so I may know some of you. I raced a bit with AHRMA but had a bad crash a few years ago here, so I just do track days now.

For those of you that have never been to our track or may be coming to the AHRMA event here for the first time, I have some "on bike" videos if you want to check out the track.

Just go to youtube.com and put in johnnydanger57 in the search. My videos are there.

Great site, hope to learn some from you all.

John

John,

I may be moving to the Phoenix area in the near future (you catch that jc?). Is Albuquerque the closest track? I'm not sure I will have a track bike available to me while I am there (6 mos or so) but might like to get out to a race or two during that time. I will try to have a road bike there and would like any info on good rides.

I think Firebird in Phoenix is still open. Check the net. And there is a closer track than here in Deming NM, a lot of guys from Phoenix go there.

Hello again!

It was a pretty cool race weekend last. For those old guys, Hurley Wilvert (ex factory Kawasaki H2R rider) lives here, and raced my bike. It's pretty cool to have a teenage "hero" as a friend and racing my bike!

Here is a vid of the race. And a description is to the right of the vid screen. He will be racing a real H1R when AHRMA comes in a few months.

Dang, the two-stroke heathens are showing up everywhere!

I've seen you're posts on the Kawi H2 board. The guys on this site tend to be four stroke small bore Honda or Triumph guys, but there's a few 2smokers here.
Racing is racing! Hurley also campaigns a honda 350. Does that count?.... ;) And Steve Brown is from here, very fast on a Honda 350 also.
