Can some one give us some ground clearance numbers please! We just put the bike togather to a rolling chasie and we are trying to locate whare to put the upper shock mounts but we dont really know whare to start from. So we are running 18" rimsand I figured we could use a number from the ground to the frame any help would be great. Thanks

Not exactly sure what you're looking for...does the frame not have the upper shock mounting points? Did you remove them? I believe you'll need to have the swingarm in the frame to establish the correct mounting point. Does the swingarm have the lower mounts?

Yes we removed the upper shock mounts to make a new rear hoop. Im looking for a number I can use to make the new ones. Im not sure how high to make the back end. Since we didn't want to make the thing sit too high I figured we could use some numbers from the ground to the frame rails. Iknow their at different hights so if you sould specify which side that would be great.
Thanks

Hi Richie,
Did you figure this out yet? I would stay roughly with stock shick position and change the geometry with the front end. If you do lower the shock mounts, I would go too much from stock. Plus when you change the angle your changing the dampning and rebound.
