Was too painful to read the whole thing :/ did anybody recommend explosives?

Synopsis is:

Snapped a spark plug whilst trying to remove it.
Got some of it out using various methods.
Eventually removed head, got thread repaired professionally.
Rebuilt engine successfully.

The big deal was this was someone who had struggled with simple maintenance work before and this was a modern ish IL4 engine. Pages and pages of coaxing by keyboard warriors on how to rebuild and retime the top end.

All good in the end with a massive cheer from the crowd.
