oh yeah, wait til you see the pic of this cbx in a chromed spondon frame with a supercharger on it that i saw last night. holy crapola. it has a rear wheel fatter than the 265's i used to have on the fastback.

The little Honda screams already. The issue at Daytona... well the first issue was a stupid mistake with long needles that didn't allow any main jet of any size be used, the second issue once the the bike was running great was as Pete T. said "Knock, knock... who's there? Detonation. The compression ration was a bit high for long Daytona straights. The piston looks good minus a chunk missing.

I thought that indent was for the sparkplug? Or is there a little
extra removed from the top of that groove? hard to see.

Daytona, IMO, sucks. Boring, featureless, too hard on the bikes.
Especially on the Ossa I was on down there. Maybe on a 150hp+ superbike it'd be more interesting...

Jennings, on the other hand... wow. Fast and fun.

its on the road. its a cbr929 fork. and he lives in pa. i couldnt tell you exactly where, since i didnt know exactly where i was, nor would the owner like everyone to know where it is. but i know the west chester area will ring some bells here. apparently he rides it on occasion. he says the problem is that he gets mobbed where ever he goes. id love to hear that thing whine! if you ever manage to catch him, stop and say hi. hes quite the charicter, and a great mechanic. and he loves old bikes. if i ever get a chance to get back there, i'll take my camera and get some pics of the blower side. its a pretty impressive rig.

Where the hell does one find a frame like that. Is it a current build or a CBX period piece? Had to cost a pretty penny.
Gotta love pressurized intake systems....who cares what shape the intakes are cause it doesn't matter.
Note what looks like a pop-off valve behind the right cylinder intake port.
Would be nice to see photos of the blower drive system.
