For those of you who do not know what Joe's post is about:
Joe and Rosko are working on ways to improve the handling characteristics of their bikes. They have tried a lot of different modifications, such as changing the fork springs, shocks, and steering head angle, but have only gotten small improvements so far.
Finally, Joe hit upon the ideal solution. The key to better handling, he decided, is to lower the center of gravity as much as possible. If he could lower the center of gravity of his bike by 8 or 10 inches, his bike would handle like it was on rails. And what better way to lower the center of gravity than to ditch those 19" Akronts and install wheels that are only 2" in diameter? A stroke of genius!
Stay tuned, Joe will be posting photos of his bike with skateboard wheels on it very soon.
