Hi all! I'm thinking of switching to a motorcycle, for now I'm racing my bicycle. But I want to try a motorcycle as well. I decided to look at motorcycle forums and find the right one for me. Or do you think I shouldn't?

you just saved yourself a ton of money and complications if you're not plating it for the road and have a place to ride it.

Average cost of 1 street motorcycle insurance is very roughly 750$ per year, you can do a lot of dirt riding for $750 per year.

I arrived at that number both by google search and by what I pay personally.

The actual initial equipment investment is about the same for a competition dirt bike or an entry level street motorcycle. (~10 grand) But it depends on places you have to ride it, you either need street insurance and a plate or you are good with riding it on private lands and closed course competitions.
It's a life style choice.

I would take a tent and a fishing rod and go somewhere on the river On my bike, of course That's more my thing.
