By admin - May 9, 2019

HONDA HAS OFFICIALLY ANNOUNCED THE COMPLETELY NEW CR500 WITH COMPLETELY SATISFYING SPECIFICATIONS IN A LIMITED NUMBER

Just fifteen years ago nearly all motocross bikes were two-strokes, and the mean big brother of them all was the CR500. The CR500 was first produced in 1984. It was nicknamed the “Ping King” Stock, it made 58bhp and weight just 230lbs. The CR500, which was a two-stroke, was discontinued in 2001, It didn’t fit in any racing categories so Honda barely bothered updating its noodley frame, but that didn’t stop Robbie Knievel using one to jump 5 billion dollars at an ING Bank event.

Honda has officially announced the come back of the century,
After the reveal of 2020 Motocross and Off-Road models, Honda have made an announcement about bringing back the legend Honda CR500 back in production in a limited number.

HONDA Released a private statement that has been leaked within a HONDA Forum, that talks of a new CR5OO are in the making for the 2020 model line ups, the bike will have 92bhp and weighs 197lbs, frame 14kg lighter than the original, and a top speed of 87mph. The CR500 will be in a limited number.
