Hi all. Im new to caferacer.net.

Ive got a 1971 Honda CB125s which I bought with a dodgy aftermarket kickstart lever. That lever has now given up on me and im trying to source something closer to an original Honda part - which is like finding hen's teeth here in Australia. Ive scouted around for a couple of months (including purchasing a crappy aftermarket lever on ebay from indonesia which was useless - spline teeth just crap) and have come up empty handed.

So i guess my question is: does anyone know which other honda models would have kick start levers that would be compatible with my CB125s? The shaft diameter on my bike is 15mm with a spline count of 30. There are a bunch of levers on ebay but hard to tell the diameter and spline count from the pictures, and im hoping to not have to fork out $$$ only to find that the lever doesnt fit.

Even better: does anyone have a spare original honda cb125s kikc start lever? that would be ace!

If you go to any vintage bike swap meets, keep an eye out for almost anything that might work. I've replaced kick starter levers on TY's and I have no idea what the levers came off, but they sure did work good.
