Just bought a '72 honda CB500 that I plan on turning into a cafe bike. I hope to have pics of what I have done so far to it here pretty quick (mostly just tear down work). When I got the bike it had a set of mini apes on it and the seat was some atrocious looking touring seat. Those were of course the first things to go. I plan on fiberglassing my own seat (never fiberglassed b4 so it should be interesting). Well, I'll keep you guys posted.

Well, finally got some pictures of what I started with. Unfortunately, I didn't decide to start taking pictures of it until AFTER I had started tearing it apart, all well. Anyhow, here are some pics of what I had done up till yesterday when I pulled the motor and both wheels off the frame. Unfortunately, someone somewhere down the line put some aftermarket fork bolts on the front forks and they are now too big to just slip the forks out of the tree. All well, just one more thing I guess...

Crap that fell out of my left crank case.
