Hi all, I have been restoring and modifying a 2008 Honda CBF250 into a Café Racer / Brat style bike. I've tried to make it look semi vintage, with modern touches. When I pulled the bike apart I found a mess of sketchy wiring modifications, I knew it had some issues with lights and controls but at least it ran.
Now I have relocated most of the main components, I am struggling to get it working properly again. So far I can't find a wiring diagram that is little more than pixelated paths of wires with illegible colour names.
I have made this wiring diagram of my job so far. Could any Electrical Wizards have a look and let me know where I am going wrong?
Thanks!

Ok I looked and you have miles to go, your headlight needs high and a low beam by law in most civilized countries.
You instrument cluster has bulbs in them we hope.
Are any of your lights LED if yes then you have even more drawing needed.
Kill switch connected to headlight? that ain't right.
You have no main fuse protecting the battery and nothing charging it, that needs work too
... there's more but that's a start (y)

Thank you! I knew there were a few issues with it. The instrument cluster has lights for Indicators, Neutral and High beam (I wanted to leave the wiring for this until everything else was sorted)

All indicators and the tail light are LED.

I'll go through the diagram again with your advice and see what I can come up with. Thanks (y)

LED is going to need a special flasher, it needs to operate on time instead of heat from current draw.
I was unable to locate a wiring diagram for your original bike, share that if you can, it will have all the required items.
How many wires come out of the engine, and what colours are they? Rectifier and regulator need to be combined if they are not separate items and that needs to suit LED. IF you are using a special battery that's the part that needs to suit the battery charging requirement as laid out by the battery manufacturer, the rectifier and regulator output needs to suit the battery it is charging.

I have a flasher unit for it, will research the correct wiring for this.
Green / Red, Green / White, Blue, 3x Yellow wires come out of the engine. The previous owner said the after market battery had issues holding charge, so the Reg / Rec could be the issue!
Here is the best image I have found for a wiring diagram, I have downloaded the workshop manual for the bike and this was included. However as you can see, I can't read the wire colours

3 yellow wires are your three phase alternator outputs, that's your raw power, the original rectifier and regulator is not suited to your future use anyway you need all new stuff down line of the alternator outputs.

That sure looks like a main fuse holder right next to the starter relay on the diagram, they do make them like that.

There are diodes on the diagram you won't need but you likely need to add a power capacitor.

Okay, I've updated the wiring Diagram, based on advice given here and referencing other Honda wiring diagrams. How does this look now?
It's been pointed out I might need a new Reg/ Rec combo for the new battery, in the mean time I just want to check if this wiring diagram is on track to working. Thanks in advance!

what is the spec on the capacitor?
& what's the thing called "carb" and "8" does your bike have a carburetor heater or something?
... when its all mapped out you need to calculate new values for the fuses powering the LED circuits.

The "Carb" is the Carburetor, unsure what the wiring to it is, you're probably right with it being a heater.

I got the Bike started today! Thanks for the advice and getting me to question my original drawings!

Thought I would upload the final wiring diagram incase anyone else with a Honda CBF250 / CBX250 needs to create or fix a custom wiring harness. If anyone wants the original Adobe Illustrator file I used to create this, leave a reply on this forum. Cheers
