I have never seen an NC30 in the states, I don't think they were sold here. I have seen an RC30 on the streets though when I lived in new orleans.
There are tons of 400cc sportbikes never brought to this country, which means the US is getting cheated out of good small bikes. The cbr400, the zx400r have never seen sale on our shores.
Conversley, the fzr400 is cheap, all aluminum, can be brought down to a race weight under 300 lbs, an fzr600 or yzf R6 motor can be swapped in with minimal effort, and makes an awsome track bike. They handle awsome and are probably a lot easier to find than an nc30 (and probably cost less too - $2k will buy you a clean fzr400).
