I rebuilt the forks on my cb750, new seals or whatever. the manual says to use 6-6.5 oz of atf per fork. so thats what i did.

does that sound right, how can I tell if im using enough. forks seem to travel fine, i can hear a little noise from the spring inside that i dont remember from before.

any opinions.

Are you sure the manual doesn't give you a depth measurement. If you know what level they should be at you can dip a small diameter rod down, mark it, and measure it. Although, if you put the right amount in then you shouldn't have to worry.

6" from the top of the slider. with the tubes completely compressed and the spring in.
