well joe <img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>
I was just kidding cause I don't really have what's there, not even close but I haven't really inspected it all. all that new probably went for a pretty penny. like you said, would be a really fun project.

i thought i remember you showing me all kinds of 550 stuff that was yosh race stuff. a motor with stuff in it. i just kinda blank things out when they dont have anything to do with me, so what i probably heard was....blah blah blah yoshi race....blah blah blah....550....blah blah blah... beyond that, none of it really registered. dont take it personally though. it was back when you and aaron shared that garage in wakefield. mike o and i came over to check the place out. the one the neighbors hated you at, probably not only one, and the guys next store were a machine shop of some sort. ehhh....just buy that bike for 7500, that way we can have another really expensive honda to wad next year. then i'll but one for year after.....really...i will....i promise....:)

$42 for a Vision street wear t-shirt???

Dang....

Back in the day.. you couldn't give those shirts away... at least not in my crowd. We were more like Santa Cruz, Dogtown, Alva, Zorlac whores.

Also.. we never rode with any plastic on our boards. No copers.. no rails.. no tail/nose bones.. ...just wood, grip tape, risers and trucks (independent).

I have a few skate pix from my youth online if ya's wanna check 'em out. I plan to go thru my archives and scan a bunch more.. but this is what I have now.

kick ass!!! i loved the streetwear gear. mark rogowski was the man. he could look as dirty as craig johnson and skated as good. i remember watching gator at some contest and seeing him pull 2 mctwists in a row. it was nuts.

got an indy tat when i was 17 in n.c. ride nothing but indy. indy sticks on my truck bumper. skated everything from schmitt to powell to vision to santa cruz. (my fav, especially when they came out with the slick bottoms) rode pools ditches ramps and anything else we could find. i'll see if i can get a few pics from the day for ya up. i'll have to take pics of the pics and postem, but it seems to work ok. i dont have a ton of them left. i still have a huge pile of thrasher mags from the early 80's i held the neighborhood record for doing the highest acid drop. 13' of off the top of a tractor trailer. we used to ollie off of the roof tops of the garage up the street. it had a flat roof and no drip edge. plenty of people got hurt doing that one. i'll get pics up soon.

ug, i just spent like 45 mins cropping and copying images to a stupid floppy, uploaded them and when i looked at them, none of them wrote to the floppy correctly. well, one stupid pic did. ehhh....if you wanna see some of the childishness from the track this past season, go to http://users.rcn.com/logojoe there is one pic there of me snowboarding a few years back. some really good pics of aaron on bike, and even a goofy one of gpchamp john! and for everyone who has time on thier hands and lives on the eastcoast, especially newenglanders, get a bike together and come race with us this spring. you wont have more fun doing anything else ever. i'll try to get all of the other skate pics back up soon.

later

it went for 3750.00

i guess not too bad. still too much for a 550 though. just goes to show, there is always someone who will pay anything for something.
