Funny stuff...

so last sunday I was at a friends house hanging out. I had ridden my t500 over there and had it parked out front. A guy walking by notices it and offers us a free bike - 1982 GS400.

Not being one to turn down a free bike another buddy of mine and I go over and load it up. Only problem is I am out of room at my place. So what do we do? we partially disassemble it, bring it into the first friend's basement, and reassemble it. Then we wait to see how long it takes him to notice.

I got the call this morning.

This isn't like an abandoned basement, his workshop is in the basement and he needs to load up his tools for work every day. He walked past an assembled motorcycle in his house for almost a week before he realized it was there.

Just wanted to let you all know that i have ample room and am currently accepting free motorcycles.
The down side of getting free bikes is you actually have to have a running one first. That way strangers can see you appreciate fine old machinery and will then give you theirs.
