has anyone here ever heard of these bikes? i have a chance to get an 02 fc550 for 1000 bucks and a titled cb750f frame. this bike is an absolute ball to ride, never been in the dirt before.

Husaberg makes great 4 stroke dirtbikes.

Friend of mine has one and it is much faster than my CR250R.

Go for it.

looks like all it's going to need is some work to repair the decompression mechanism and a new kicker shaft.

sold before i could get there damnit. now i want one of these things, though a lower seat height would be cool. short and tubby doesnt work well with one of those bikes.

Bummer about it being gone...

Go for a honda XR or CRF... good bikes.

You can always hot knife the seat to take a couple of inches out. I have some shorter friends that have done that and love it.
