in the summer its a little different for me, i work more towards racing than anything else. i basically work as much as i can in the winter. i dont really start to seriously get into the racing mindset until about the middle of march. thats when i start working on bikes and thinking about what i'll be able to do and what i can do. you know, ordering shit and trying to get it done. thinking about it and trying to get it done in december just doesnt work for me. i dont have any kind of a really good influence to make me start tearing shit down. that was one of the great things about living upstairs from mikey, he always had something going on and it made me want to dig into things more. now the bike is lucky if i get out the compressed air and blast it off everyonce in a while. once spring hits full tilt, im also more prone to ride things more and that gets me more in the mood. plus i love tearing around the belair circuit on my bike. the back stretch is an uphill sweeping left hander that is easily a top gear run. did i mention my neighbors hate me?? its nice racing a honda, low maintainance. just fill it up and race. hell, i might even change my oil this year. that was a joke. i change it all of the time.
