When I was 19 hangovers never hurt this much. Celebrated my B-day at the stroke of midnight last night - now it feels like I could peel my teeth.

Some things I have been musing about:

- I have owned the same cars for approximatley 10 years now. I bought my jeep new in 1995 (12 years) and my GTO in 1997. They haven't always been running vehicles that entire time but hey, whose counting. It really doesn't feel that long. In 1994 I went through 5 cars in one year, I think that is progress. My GTO is 40 years old today.

- I have been riding motorcycles for 14 years (counting thos two years I gave up riding in the wake of brit bike ownership). My first two bikes (a cr125 and a norton commando) are long gone but I have had my third bike, the blue cb750 that was in motorcycle classics, 8 years now.

- Two of my motorcycles turn the same age as me this year. Sadly one is going up for sale this year to pay for the next big step in my life - marrage.

Anyway, hope y'all have a great day.

P.S. does anyone have a font close to the norton graphic?

Yeah, I am the same age as a couple of my bikes too,, the ariel and the cub.
All made in '55. Quit bitchin!!!

If your bikes are newer than 67, I wouldn't worry about that prostate exam, unless of course you like that sort of thing

Geet, Happy Birthday dude. While getting old has it's drawbacks, I don't see a good alternative.

I just talked to a customer who came back from a 3 week ride down in South America, Argentina and Chile I think. He decided to do it this year because he figured he didn't want to wait till he was too old to be able to enjoy it with his sons.
He just turned 65.

I know that doesn't help your hangover. Maybe 1 less drink next time...

You share your birthday with my daughter.

Just wait until you start doing this sort of accounting with your kids (should you decide to have any) instead of your cars.
For example, my daughter's second grade teacher was my little sister's best friend when they were my daughter's current age.

And you think your head hurts.

Oh, and the 2nd grade teacher is a knockout.
