I cannot believe that there is NO television coverage of the 100th anniversary of the TT! Starting this weekend and going straight through till June 8th(?) and not a single station is carrying any of it as far as I know.

Does anyone know of any I.O.M. TT events being televised? What about online? I'd be happy to see some of it, in any format.

Here's the tentative schedule for THIS weekend:

Friday 25 May 2007 - Sunday 27 May 2007
Pre-TT Classic Motorcycle Races. Pre T.T. Classic Motorcycle Road Racing for solo and sidecars on the Billown Circuit Castletown. Friday evening practice from 6pm. For newcomers, solos and sidecars. Saturday afternoon practice from 1pm. Race one 250/350 cc Singles 6 laps. Starting at 2.30pm. Sunday afternoon race two Lightweight 1.50pm. Race three 500cc Senior Classic 2.45pm. Race four Sidecar Classic 3.40. The Billown Circuit, Castletown.

Saturday 26 May 2007 - Friday 08 June 2007
T.T. Centenary Motorcycle Festival. The 100th Anniversary of the famous T.T. Motorcycle Races. Solo and sidecars racing on the 37 and 3/4 miles mountain course. Mountain Circuit, Douglas.

For $16 I bought a subscription to the live audio feeds for the two weeks from the official IOM website. There are a few other features described at the link below.

http://www.iomtt.com/TT-2007/TT-Live.aspx

My subscription doesn't start until Saturday. I'll let you know how it goes.

Last year there were daily highlight videos posted here at the IOM tourism website. http://www.visitisleofman.com/motorsport/

I suspect that as they become available all of those same features and highlights will be available on the new official IOMTT website here. http://www.iomtt.com/ We'll know after the first practice session this Saturday.

Its hard to believe that speed won't provide any coverage of the TT. I did see on another forum that speed had a change of heart. I find this hard to believe as speed has no heart.

Oldschoolorange, Is the shop owner Irish by any chance?

I'm getting to Bonneville this year which will be as close to the Island as I'll get. I hve a friend in Ireland that is going over with his son. They are bringing a '29 KTT Velocette and a '35 Rudge Ulster.
