my buddy patric, his brother has one of the first m3's. they drive it around baltimore like that. well, it feels like it anyway. did i hear the guy say something about beating mcrae? colin mcrae and nicky grist were the best to watch in the wrc. i loved listening to grists deadpan route calling. apparently colin is going to be trying his hand at the dakar rally again this year. and the guy can drive just about anything on 4 wheels it seems. those tarmac guys are incredible to watch. i wish i had about 1% of the car control those guys have. just amazing. id love to go see one of those races sometime. it must just be one huge party. i like when they hae to cancel stages because there are too many people on the course. and they blow the whistle to let you know to get off the track. makes motogp look tame. nuts.

bikes have top speed in thier favor, but cars are generally faster in the corners.

well, no, i mean, there arent many "out of the box" cars capable of close to 200mph. then combine that with acceleration, and braking, my guess would be the bikes can do a faster lap. even though the cars carry more corner speed. in general. there are some flat out spots on the isle of mann though as we all know, but id bet the bikes are going faster. now the guy driving that little car, i wouldnt bet against him!! also, wonder if they run the same exact course.

the real difference is you can do it in airconditioning, and while listening to your favorite cd!
