to give up on this forum if it remains this slow.
I've got a 500k connection and I wait 5 minutes for ever page to load.

Someone help me understand the technical reasons it runs so slow. Sucks to have a 500 word replies lost due to time outs.

so joe says, "chris is coming to summit but will only have the rs125 ready.....then he says, maybe i'll send him out on my cb350 to show you how it's done!"

i said, "joe, i could beat your bike if friggin' vale was riding it and i was on crutches!"

he just laughed that simpleton laugh of his.

i then said that "i would make chris my chinese/canadian bitch."

i hope chris marshall doesn't show up on a real stocker cb350. not to be confused with that clapped out, zebra skinned, poser cb350 that clancy pants tries to pass as a race bike.

oh yeah, john, i asked around about that brake drum you have with the crazy turning on it. bmw used to make drums with a seal retainer on them tha looked like that. think thats what it is?? im pretty sure none of the cb77 or 450 drums ive had have had that on them.

I'll post a pic of it sometime soon. Just got it cleaned up and put back together today.
Got the 450 brake in the mail today. Very similar to the 305 except the 40 holes of course...and it's got some beefier webbing inside..don't know how well the 450 will stop but it sure looks like a sturdy hub.

Wonder if Vesrah replacement shoes will work ok until I get Morse to do up some new shoes.

I looked at a CB77 rear hub and it has the same spiral. Grease retention shouldn't be a consideration since they use cartridge bearings with shields. I know some can get by but not enough to bother.
These things may be crop circles of motorcycle design.

I'm using those shoes on the 175 now but they were in the 350 before until I got the VB setup. They work ok I guess. I probably won't change them on the 175 until they start fading towards the end of an event. The brown chipboard appearance isn't very confidence inspiring though.

Mary's got Vesrah in the CB160 front brake on her 175...seems to work ok...but it's kind of hard getting good feedback from her on things like how the brakes work. Lots of "I dunno...ok I guess".

jb, ive found its hard to compare things if you dont have at least 2 radically different setups. like going from my 350 to my 450 brake. the 350 seemed ok, til i laced the 450. then it was like, whoa! i would have liked to compare my old front against the new using the same wheel. but i didnt really have a choice. sometimes i think changes take time to notice. and then there is always just the mental part. does this just feel better because i think it feels better. unfortunately we dont have the luxury of being able to do 200 laps on the same bike in a weekend.

have any of you guys ever been to the f-usa races at louden and heard the thunderbikes??? i know at summit it was nearly deafening.

newsflash......

tex mawby beats chris marshall on joe c's cb350 at summit point in 500gp. next race tex mawby beats joe c. himself on same bike in 350gp. after everyone that has told joe c. that it is/was time to work on his bike and rebuild, it takes his gay lover chris to finally get it through his head.

joe, get to wrenchin'

tex

p.s.- roper beat tex mawby in both races at summit and rabbie and j "not that" d did the same to tex up at loudon in form cb.

congrats to all but joe c.

joe c, (in voice of nelson from the simpsons) "heh heh" -tex
