Today I have almost completed the final odds and ends of this LONG LONG building of my racer. I am only needing a set of spark plug wires and some race fuel and BLAMO! I am going to attempt to lite this thing off. So with any luck and any other thing you can think of I hope the F#$%er runs.

Aaron, you dont have to bing the bike just the registation to copy your info down. I trust your bike is in working order.Ill be here all day today, I am going to try to start the monster around 3 pm I am waiting for Danny to come back so I can have help with the starter rollers. I need to prime the oil system and get some oil to the head first and then light the candel!!!

Its ALIVE!!!!!!!!!!

Well its a runner. But Danny says its too loud. I don't care. It fine by me and I don't care what they say, plus the cars will be there and they are way louder than all of us together. I am around 120 db Danny thinks. I cant hear Danny so he is probably right. The motor feels real real strong and the throttle response is real quick. Just so everyone else is wondering what I am talking about, I have almost completed a CB 550 based racer it is using a @#$% and with a $%^&* and running a [email protected]#$%^ and with new high compression pistons @ 12.7:1 with the all loud 4 meggas.

chuck, im not being an ass here, but you should try to get within the sound limits. it'd suck to see you show up then get turned away. cant wait to see the bike. sounds bitchen with all of that stuff.

If I'd known that I would have kept mine. Chucks bike is actually coming together quite nicely. Its only a little loud but will probably become a little quiter with some tuning. I think Mr. Boodwah will have a run with Chucks sorted.

haha, same answer

actually my other 350 smokes when downshifting too. I'm guessing they blow valve seals from running at high rpm's so long. don't think they were designed for 12k. I'm sure johnny didn't baby it any that first season

FYI JD The only thing I have ever done to that POS is jet it for that pipe johnny bought for it. I do see alot of smoke when johnny down shifts but not when you ride it you never seem to go by when I'm at the track, why is that?

I'll bring a copy of the tape to the august NHIS event. It might not be very fun to watch 'cause all you see is smoke.( well at least for a very few seconds,after that you can see clearly).

I'm going to do some video of the whole weekend with everybody in it except for Clancy as he will be in turn 2 watching from the pavement up.
