OOPS! sorry bad lead I went and checked the Sudco book and I didn'tfind anything that works without modifacation. The listed flanges all come straight out from the head. It looks likea stock carb would hit the frame. Steve
I took a torch to a set and burned all the rubber off. Then I welded some exhaust tubing to the remaining flanges. Then I used rubber hose for the carbs to slide into. That way I could adjust the length of the intake to make bigger carbs fit better. If someone had a dyno and time, they could try adjusting intake length for max power.
It worked for me and the manifolds were junk anyway. Plus I have a ported head and the metal flanges matched right up with the ports.
Come on Pete, It only sounds sophisticated. I'll put in wanker terms for you. Use a torch(good wanker tool), radiator hose(used from a 71 Pinto wagon) and hose clamps (used not too rusty). There, does that make more sense to you now.
