My 77 xs360 doesn't like to start cold. I'm assuming because there's a choke of some sort missing. There's nothing on the handlebar, but the left carb looks like there's something not there. There's a little lever attached to a rod that connects both carbs. The rod pulls on a little plunger I thought was some kind of accelerator pump, even though most cv type carbs don't have accelerator pumps, right? Is it just the choke and there's some kind of knob not there?

Right side (I forgot the pencil. The black part is the plunger)

Left side (pointing out lever that moves the rod)

Left side (pointing to a threaded tower where something should go?)

Thanks,
Mike
