Heya guys, the 74 suzuki gt550 I just bought starts and runs nice, until, I let off the throttle and coast in gear, then the bike jerks. Not everytime, but at 60 in 5th, 40 in 4th, and so on the bike jerks forward, then back. Kinda like if you let out the clutch in first and are nervous with the throttle. Any ideas? I'm taking it to a suzuki guy, but I figured a heads up is worth it.
Could it be a carb synching problem, or worse yet a transmission problem? And most off, I can keep it from happening by up or downshifting or using the clutch, but could it be dangerous?
Thanks all.
