Which MMI, Phoenix or Orlando?

Phoenix and his name is John Fletcher. He use to work at jet tuning http://jetttuning.com/ which is where I was going to take my bike if I couldn't figure this out but they are freaking expensive. Last night he came over we pushed the bike to his house. He texted me and said the timing on the tappets were way off. He said it still didn't turn over so today he is going to take the carbs apart again.

I won't know him then, I was an instructor in Orlando
They are damn expensive, $250.00 is that for inline 4?
I can fix mid-range richness problem for about $40.00 on CB twin when pods are fitted(although I 'specialise' in CB360's at present)[)]
Of course, if it was a business and not a hobby, it would be substantially more expensive;)
MMI used to use CB400T motors for Cl-6 engine re-build.
If cam timing was way off, you may have bent a valve or two (one tooth off and it just runs like crap)

Yes very expensive. I guess the guy at jettuning use to be the mechanic for the honda race team a while back. My cousins have taken their dirtbikes there and have had amazing results. I just don't want to dump that kind of money on this bike...plan is to get it turned right, ride it to work, paint it, and sell it to get a better bike to work with. I bought this bike before I did any research. I'll check with him about the valves. Thanks
