Now for the important questions - How old are you & how many kids do you have to severely limit your bike time?

Really, i'm a transplant eastsider. Born in Livonia, lived in plymouth, redford, chelsea, Brooklyn(clark lake) and now sterling heights.
No kids, but I did get engaged three weeks ago. Ouch...

Eh. You're not really an east sider at all. Let's see pics. My first bike was a beater '76 cb750f. Catboy traded a bicycle for his cb750.

It's not that hard to figure out.
If you think his lyrics are gay, have you ever seen him perform (musically)? Looks stupid gay.
Note: I have never, ever been to a Billy Squier show. Saw him on TV once.

So, how long 'til that lump is road worthy? Is this your first bike? There's suposed to be a bike night in Royal Oak every Thurs, but I've never been. Assume it's an annoying fashion show. RO attracts a goofy crowd.

R/O is a fashion show. I don't even like riding around here. Brooklyn/clark lake and up towards Dexter have some of the best roads.
This is my third street bike. I've owned a 98 CBR600 and a 2000 R1 that was a streetfighter style with mx bars, etc...
What's left with the CB is:
Tune carbs
Tires
Remount the rear fender (i shortend it)
install new brake light
blead front brake.
new momentary switch for starter
oh yeah, and degrease the piss out of the rear wheel.
Thats it

AA, Dexter & points south & west are indeed the place to ride. I always liked Huron River Drive from AA to Dexter, but you have to pick your times since it gets awfully clogged up with bicyclists, runners and other irritating, slow-driving gawkers. There are some good roads north of Rochester too, but I've never had the chance to take a bike out that way. An estranged brother lives in RO, & I used to ride to his house. 696 sucks ass on a bike. Let me (& catboy) know when you're ready to take a blast. Hope you don't mind pubs, 'cause that's where we're usually heading.
