10 hp if I'm lucky. I'd hope a solid 9hp.
Think we've probably cut down the width of the powerband some. Mary's weight provides a great advantage for experimenting with things that might otherwise really kill performance on a 50. The new cam is scary radical....valves were actually touching...EACH OTHER during the overlap...had to machine down the circumference of the valve heads a tad. We are geared two teeth smaller on the rear....last year we underestimate pull down the straight and blew the engine in a thousand pieces.
But the new setup is probably 15 pounds heavier than the previous bike.
Yeah Matt...the peanut is pretty ugly...and heavy.

It really looked pretty good on the SL70 it came from....but after moving the seat back, changing the wheels and extending the swingarm it looks kind of funny.
It looks ok from behind....you'll see.
