Don't know a thing about it other than it's pretty clean. With a 277* rephase and a big bore it could be kinda fun!

The bodywork bugs me, I don't like bikes where the fairing is bigger than the engine cases. Still I dig it.

The problem I have with a project like this is I can't help but look at it and see other places to shave weight. I understand the choices made by the builder to make it look like a factory setup but the hotrodder in me says why do you need such a heavy muffler or all that subframe real-estate

I bet you'd like it if it spewed blue smoke and sounded like a coffee can full of angry hornets, yeah?

I think without the double bubble screen and a bit shorter tail it'd be pretty close. Dunno how heavy that muffler is unless it's the visual element you're referring to..

Now a tuned SuperTenere 1200 motor could be fun in a similar chassis.

I think there are too many generations between the engine design and the frame design. I would like to put an XS650 in an FZ600 frame.
