Hi fellas,

I just stumbled onto your forum and thought I'd join up. After racing Honda CB160's for three years up here in Seattle, I'd be interested in comparing notes with you guys.

Here's a link to my site: http://www.kidbanty.com

Yes indeed, I did make a small appearance in the "group photo"--2nd from left. I was not at the race meeting that was discussed in the article, but I scrap with those guys on a regular basis. Oregon has its own sanctioning body (OMRRA) which runs out of Portland, and we (WMRRA) run ours out of Seattle and Spokane. The Portland track is a nicer facility than Pacific Raceways here in Seattle and definitely nicer than Spokane, but the track itself is rather featureless for a 160. PR kicks ass because of the elevation change and scenery, Spokane is pretty fun, too.

Thanks for diggin' on the scene, and I have been reading through many of your posts. I am curious as to how even our machines are (can't imagine they're much different) although I have been to J. Branson's website several times in the past and seen some of the "trickery"...cool stuff indeed!

I noticed that you guys were talking about the Dunlop tires, and I am very interested in making the switch from Avons. One guy here already has. I don't know where he got them. I troed to call RC Barker about them once a couple years ago, but he said he had not received a shipment. Is he the only guy?

Cheers,

ive been through vintage tyres limited in canada. they are a dunlop race tire shop. im also working on a source in england. the dunlops kick ass. i wont go back to avons unless i can get the new uber compound theyre talking about releasing. just my opinion though. if you want the info from the place in canada, id be happy to post it for you. which jb, it reminds me. i found my original reciept the other day. 135 bucks to my door for one. 3 seasons ago. well worth it i think.

I just ordered three of the dunlops from Barker.
There is a guy in Canada that sells them too. It's a shame someone in the states can't get their shit together on the dunlops..they seem to be readily available at most times in Europe.

I've got a 160 I'll be running in the USCRA MotoGiro USA rally in the fall...with a few minor performance modifications.

Sorry I haven't updated my site in a while. Numerous new projects in the works. Like this PVL Mag/CDI mounting plate..fits sloper 175/160.

I don't like Barker...he acts like he's doing you a freakin favor selling you tires.

I'm betting, if one looked into it they would find that any Dunlop tire distributor in the US could get the KR825...it's listed right along with all the other Dunlop race tires. I don't see why one single freakin guy has the entire US supply of this particular tire.

I know a couple of guys who were ordering them from Europe...until the exchange rate went to shit.
