I was just curious to see if this forum was open. Here is my sidecar I'm building to run at El Mirage dry lake in SoCal

Very cool looking rig. I don't think I've seen that engine before, looks like a speedway type.
What's it run on?
What's the tranny?
What do you expect for top speed?
What kind of tires/wheels for front and sidecar?
What's the rear wheel from?

What's a red hat?

Hoof, that 'chine is cool! Is the Weslake engine a dry sump? I remember reading about some of the speedway engines, that they were total loss oil systems, which doesn't make sense for a 4 stroke. Anyway, that thing must sound cool.
