Im bored on christmas eve and i have an extra gas tank i was wanting to play with. I have seen people do their own tank inserts with a hammer and bondo but that dont sound like it would turn out as good as cutting/welding/shaping. Anyone know of any internet pages to research about this subject before i head out to the garage and start cutting?

proper use of real metal working tools (like real shaping hammers and dollys and spoons and such) should yield a better result than cutting/shaping....the problem is most people don't know how to use those tools properly - hence the bondo.
