is it possible to move it from the handlbar to..anywhere? any kits for it? The switch to dragbars has left me with very little space. any ideas on cutting down on clutter would be appreciated.

You can look at aftermarket master cylinders with remote resvoirs (sp), they take up a lot less space. The cheaper route is to go to a motorcycle junkyard and find a master cylinder that is physically smaller but uses the same banjo bolt.

It may be alot of work and difficult to find, but some Moto Guzzis, particularly the late 70's/ early 80's small blocks (V50, V50II etc)had remotely located master cylinders that were operated by cable from the right lever. They could be mounted anywhere as long as you can custom make a new cable (easy, search "Flanders" for cable making supplies) and brake lines. Find some one who is parting out an old small block on Ebay or check out the MGNOC web site or even call MG Cycle in Wisconsin. Hope this helps.

All the BMW R series bikes with disk brakes have remote master cylinders operated by cable. They hide them under the tank right next to the starter solinoid so that the brake fluid that gets splashed out will corrode the starter contacts. Works well too.
