I've got a Honda NX250 cummuter bike. It just up and died on my way to work a while back. When I pull the spark plug, ground it to the head and hit the starter I get ONE spark, then nothing but turning over. If I turn the ignition off and back on, it'll do the exact same thing - one spark. Anyone seen this before? It's a CDI ignition with a pulse generator (instead of points, I think) and coil... I think it's got to be one of the two or the control module itself. I don't guess it could be a wire grounding out, but I dunno. Would a bad coil cause this?
EDIT: Looks like the coil. Resistance across the terminals is supposed to be .1-.2 ohms and it's showing .6
Parts are on order.
