Less than one month away till The Ton-Up Chicago's Mods Vs. Rockers III vintage motorcycle/car show..
It is gonna be on Saturday, June 16th 2007 @ Delilahs in Chicago.(See the event flyer below)

Their were tons of different vintage (& modern) bikes running around, from Indians to BSA's to Honda's to brand new Triumph's(lots of rock-a-billy chicks as well ;D) Event consists of a bike show, then everyone gets together and does a ride to the musuem for a group photo, then back to the bar for live music, drinking, food, etc...

I highly reccomend you guys who can make the event to do so, You will not be dissapointed.
If you out of staters need directions, hotel help, etc let me know...

Lots of cool bikes. I would love to go to that one. Can't get the time off but we are going to Ohio in July. Maybe next year this is on the to-do list. Thanks for some great pictures.

If I were you I would do a search and see which ones are around their. The event is gonna be huge, but not so big you wont be able to find a room. The event is being held at:

You should be able to use that info to find a place in the general area to stay. I am in the burbs, so I wish I could be of more help (dont know much about hotels in the city)..

on the intra-web can only find em for like 200-300/night, I'll have to either drive about 15 miles, or find somewhere else.

Look for something in the metro burbs like rosemont, park ridge, des plaines, franklin park, etc.. That way you can save some $$, and then just hop on the good ol' Kennedy expressway to get to the show..

When i was in Chicago i stayedin West Addison,it was pretty cheap there and not far at all away from the city, by rail, i dont think it would be far by bike either

Good to hear !
Rosemont is a straight shot into the city.
Basically take I-90 (Kennedy Expressway)east into the city, and get off at California exit. The first street you will hit is Diversy, make a left and head east. Take Diversy straight to Lincoln.
Make a right on Lincoln and you are smack in the middle of the show !

Sounds like a plan.
All the bikes are going to be parked/entered into the show by classes such as "modern", "Chopper" , etc.. I am in charge of the "Streetfighter" class, so come see me to get your bike parked and so on..
