Vintage Road Racing Association ( vrra.ca ) Vintage Festival at Mosport – August 3,4 and 5th ‘07

The VRRA is holding it’s Vintage Festival at Mosport International Raceway ( http://www.mosport.com/home/home.asp ) on the 3, 4 and 5th of August 2007.

The theme for this year is the Celebration of the 40th Anniversary of the Canadian Grand Prix, held at Mosport in 1967.

We have approximately 22 Vintage Classes from Pre-1950 to 1989, including sidecars, the Warwick Cup celebrating British 4-Stroke Motorcycles and a Masters Class for us Old Farts over 50!!

Details are being finalized, but there will be additional interesting activities over the weekend.

You need to be a Member of the VRRA or a Member of R.A.C.E or USCRA.( a one event Membership is $35 )
You will need to pay $15.00 for Race Insurance unless you are a current Member of R.A.C.E.

I have attached all the Links that you could possibly need to ensure that your weekend runs smoothly, so come on up and Play!!!

tex? what are you talking about? you mean to tell me he beat hailwood, read, ivy, yvonne, and frank c in 250 gp?

i was pretty sure hailwood or phil read won that race in 67. at least according to the pic frank has.

so he would have run in 350 or 500gp id guess. (i dont remember ever seeing 350 four strokes in 250 but i could be totally wrong) i went through the standings for gp in 67 68 69, i see frank c there, but no ooch. that doesnt mean the standings are fucked up too though. they have yvonne listed as miguel. he hadnt even been born yet!

whats cool is you can see the standings in the race the cycle world article kc wrote. kinda cool.

thanks. uch told me back in the day that he had won the canadian class championship for two years straight in 250 or 350gp (maybe both, i can't remember....).

i asked the canadians with the vrra if they could direct me to some sort of result archive, but i haven't gotten any feedback yet. i'll post if i find anything out.
