Surprisingly I have not heard much about the event. A few snippets here and there on different mailing lists but not much else. Things have been quiet and the event finished off festivities with the Moto GP races at Laguna Seca. I bumped into one of the participants at Matchless tonight, he had just done the event and pointed me toward a few links on the event. The first is the official site:
http://www.motogiroamerica.com/ then the cycle world page on it:
http://www.cycleworld.com/article.asp?section_id=3&article_id=809 and finally one of the CW staffers posted throughout the event:

I know that quite a few USCRA racers made the trek out to compete and I have heard that many did well although I do not have any details yet. If anyone here has any links, photos or stories I'd love to hear. I will report back once I get some more info. I'm sure we will be seeing this event covered in all of the new vintage motorcycle magazines, maybe even a few of the older ones. Check out the
links, get inspired and get a bike running for the USCRA's fall Moto Giro USA which will take place in the green mountains of Vt. See y'all there!
