Hi,

As you guys may remember I've recently been trying to get back to riding on the cheap. I purchased a couple of basket case cb400f's that my brother ended up parting out on ebay. I then kinda inherited an RD400 that my brother had bought that I didn't have the resources to do up. Then I bought a supposedly good condition $650 77 CB550f off of ebay for $125 that ended up having a rust filled tank, hacked wiring harness and broken or rusted this and that. Well after a couple of months of tlc, picking JD's brain with a million questions, a bunch of spare parts and support from again my brother I have a runner. Now I have the rest of the winter to try and make it nice.

Here's a step by step video of it if you're interested in watching

Thanks for all of the help and advice guys!

Happy Holidays!

Great video jay, Kinda almost makes me not want to sell my cb. Like I told ya earlier, Im content to watch your tailight from behind my windscreen. At least untill you piss me off. Besides doesnt it have to do more with the rider? I will probable need that extra 60 horses to cart my fat ass. Gotta go, going to yank my computer and drop it off to the boys at Absolute.

Okay then the next video will definitly be a little more cool. As for the house that part is the only unfinished part. It's the furnace room of our basement notice the oil tank and the furnace and all of the computer boxes etc. Be easy about my space it is the only section of the house that my wife will let me mess up without saying something. The nice thing is that it's heated and on Sunday mornings when it's snowing out I can work on my bike while in my underwear and slippers.
