I got my bike today but it's a 6volt and the headlight bulb keeps burning out. Does anyone know what it would take to make it a 16v so I can run a better bulb or is there a good 6v bulb I could run. 81 suzuki 450 thanks

Dont know about the headlight bulb... But if you want to get your picture to show up dont use CAPS in the img tags.

Only really freakin' old bike use 6volt electrics. That looks like a mid 80's Yamaha single. Nice bike, but it uses a 12volt headlight.

You might be able to get a replacement at your local auto parts store if its a sealed type headlight.

it's not the yammy single. But it darn well is a 12 v system, I'd bet. He probably needs a kill switch to make it work.
