My buddy Jeff has a Ducati Monza Jr. that he has been working on for a year that he was planning on running in the giro, but he is having problems--

Bike starts and idles fine, but when the throttle is rolled on it dies. Sometimes he can get it to fire back up, then it revs really fast.

He thinks it is a major problem with the magneto, but I think it may be something simplier. Any help on this greatly appreciated--Champ, Frank, Johhny B??? Anybody else? I hope he brings it to the giro anyway and maybe someone could help him there. I offered to just swop out my newly rebuild motor for his, but he is just frustrated.

Thanks!

Champ,

That is what I thought, but he took it up to Steve D and they went thru the carb. Maybe they missed something?

If he brings it to the giro could you take a look at it?

Thanks
