Check that you dont have a short with the horn
thats what happened to me when I did my bars
All was good and all electrics worked great
until a very bumpy ride must have jostled things around and tiny peice of ground wire was touching the plate
and then Whoa Nelly - Constant Power- oh boy
I disconnected the horn under the tank so I could ride home
and then took apart the clutch housing and found it was pretty simple to rectify.
I was worried i would have to rewire everything but it turned out to be very simple.
I have a CJ360T Wiring diagram but its not in color and you can barely freakin read it
I hate those things
Roskos is the best i have ever seen
if you notice, the horn, running lights and front turn signals all have the same color positive wires, I must have the horn hooked up to the running lights. The other thing I don't like is that the rectifier, headlight, turn signals, and gauge lights all share the same color green for their ground wire, but I must have them hooked up properly since the bike runs and the headlight works.
Hondas are great machines, about the only fault I ever find with them is their electrics. Everytime I open an headlight and see a rats nest of wires I think of the little japanese guy that had to sit there and put that together, swearing in japanese all the way.
