Probably a waste of space to ask here since most are Honda fans, but has anyone looked at putting a swingarm from a "new" Triumph Bonnie on a pre-OIF frame?
I am hatching plans for my next build. I am considering putting modern Bonnie suspension under a vintage 650 motor and frame. I know its far from cutting edge technology, but it should provide decent handling in a somewhat "traditional" looking package.

pre oil in frame can be a unit or preunit bike.
a lot depends on what you use and what you are trying to accomplish....you may want to stiffen the frame up, pickup some hagon shocks, modify the forks instead of starting at the swing arm. you probably have a bolt together frame which can use some help to eliminate any movement.
go to www.britbike.com under modified or triumph section- a lot of talent and help there...
good luck,[email protected]
