is it somewhat ironic that the people who could answer this question easily for our newbie friend are no longer here because the moderators installed by the new owners demand everyone being nice to and tolerant of such newbies and their version of custom motorcycles?

The riders are still the same bunch of dynamic people, the media just became jaded

You can thank social media platforms for that, also that my generation lacks ambition and taking pride in their work (not all of them of course) and would rather stick to taking pictures of their food and posting on Instagram as to getting their hands dirty and learning a thing or two.

Add to that, baby boomers continue to get older and are kicking the bucket more frequently, no offense to all you old buzzards, and in another decade I'd say these forums will be a relic of the past
