Welcome Terry.
Honda didn't make a CB650 in 72. What is it? How is the Thruxton? My wife is starting to bug me to get a real bike that I won't race or work on. I really don't like many of the offerings from the Japanese companies. So I am looking at the Thruxton, Buell XB9R, and the Ducati 800ss.

Doh, Thinking, writing and well, chewing gum are not good to do at the same time - - - apparently.
I meant 79 CB650, but its being converted now into a Rat Rod bobber thingy...I got a bit confused I guess, I was looking at a cherry cb350 yesterday and have been thinking about it ever since - lol

Heres a pic of my Thrux
Although its a 2007, I have had it for over a year now.

I Love this bike. It feels not so different from one of my past vintage bikes - but w a a a y smoother and efficient to say the least. The beautiful thing is that I dont have to turn a wrench for three weeks to go riding once a month.
