Fell into a pretty sweet deal on this super clean, low mile '01 SVS.

First to go will be the fairing, stock can and rear inner fender.

All she needs is a battery and a little freshenin' up. Been sitting for over a year.

Man, I've been wanting one of these since they came out.

Congratulations! I've been driving one since they came out. :) That thing is 100% stock! Drop into SVrider.com when it's back online. It's one of the best support groups I've ever seen.

Stripping the fairing from an S model isn't that hard with the Veypor instrument panel, and shaving the 19lbs is great if you aren't touring. The twin light kits look GREAT on them. That being said, reworking the forks with Gold Valve Emulators and the right springs is your best first investment. Then toss a growly can on and re-jet while saving for a better pogo stick at the swingarm.
