hey there everyone!! i'm new to the whole cafe racer scene, but i've been a fan for quite some time! i have a question though. i want to build my own, and i have an old 97 600 f3 laying around that i bought out of some guys backyard. there is no title of it, so i was planning on just using the engine for a cafe build. i want to put the engine in an old cb750 frame. what do you guys think? can it be done? has anything like this been done? i'd really appreciate your help on this, as i'm sure you all know a LOT more about cafe's than i do! thanks a lot guys!

rett,

do you have a cb750 frame?

if so, take careful measurements of it and motor to see if it will fit.

i've never seen it done, but i'm sure with lots of $$$, access to a mill, lathe, welders, and an AWESOME set of tools anything is possible.

F3 honda's were pretty cool on their own, plus you can vintage race them in wera's vintage seven class.

i'd get it street legal, than race prep it. now you would have a street ride, track day bike, and legal roadracer (best of both worlds).

good luck!
