New to cafe racers, see many new (for me) names in motorcycling, which looks (again for me) very similar.
Examples: AJS, Leonart, Mondial, Bullit, Brixton etc etc.
Everybody says: we are manufacturers, we design and produce our motocycles from scratch.
IS IT TRUE? I have some China feeling in there...
Could somebody clarify?
Thanks in advance!

It's still very easy to spot made in china motorcycles
and yes some are branding cheap made in china with historic brand names like those mentioned.

If you order enough of them I bet you could show them what you want, and have Vovik written on the tank and forks and side panels. Just order a couple of container loads.

You mean common sence or more some hard facts? I'm really new in this topic and do not see obvious differences

Google cheap Chinese motorcycle engines
once you look ate a few hundred of them they start to look totally familiar.
Add to that the specs and advertised features. Japan Germany and Italy are not building 2 valve engines in this era, they wouldn't even be able to sell and have customers ride them in their domestic markets.
