Hello all,
New proud owner of a 73 Honda CB500 Four. Looking forward to getting it road worthy. As of now it runs and rides but could use a few things and any advice would be appreciated! IMG_3110_Fotor.jpg

Put different bars on it. The clubmans not only loik goofy, they cramp the riders hips and transmit leverage to the wrists and shoulders. Superbike bars would be a huge improvement.

Dont cut it up. Mark my words, in 5 years youll regret it. Just be proud of your classic bike and take care of it.

Plus 1 on those bars being a crap match for stock footpegs and seat. CB500-4 was a really nice bike motor with marginal stock suspension and brakes, my advice would also be to fix it up, keep it complete, become intimately familiar with all it's parts and don't go butchering it in the name of a look. Better photos will always make it easier for us to spot potential problem areas for you.
