Welcome Godffrey.
Got some cool projects going on. Looks like you need a bigger garage. Don't we all. I've got a huge soft spot for Nortons. Great to see'em on here.

RE: the Larson cartoon, I had a boss once who had that on his office wall. He had his name and his Asst. Mgr.'s name written over the two Devil types. I guess it was supposed to inspire us, or strike fear. Funny none the less.

Cheers- Leo

Hey mudmonkey;
Yes, speaking of CB 160's. . . http://springvinmoto.com/gallery/album100 . . I made that tank from stock and stretched err out then made those recesses toward the back to allow for mounting to the stock frame. I also did the Seat pan, rear sets, wheels and side covers .

Thanks.

just curious...did you cut into the tank and increase the fuel capacity, or just add onto it? also, how did you get the sides to look so nice...just alot of bondo and patience?

hey krapfever, i've been watching the progress on your cb160, but haven't seen any posts in a while...how is it coming? that seat/tank combo you have is amazing.

fine job on that benelli tank...your attention to detail is outstanding.

i've wanted to make a tank for some time, and even got some Ron Covell videos...but it's still so intimidating....

think you could make a mini "hanx" tank for my cb125?

welcome aboard! Great to have another vinmoto'er here. Please keep us updated with the events in your area, I know you guys get busy. Do you race at all? Frozen snot? M2M? I have to make the trek out for one event or another at some point.

Great work by the way, really beautiful stuff. Do you do this type of work professionally or just as a hobby? I ask only because as a metalworker I have only worked with structural stuff, never any sheet work. Really intriguing. Perhaps you could share the next project here on the forum? I'm sure the gang (and the gajillion lurkers) would really dig it.
